IIT Bombay’s new web application, IMPART, allows researchers to track changing water surface temperatures and can help to track climate change

Divyapriya Chandrasekaran (திவ்யப்ரியா சந்திரசேகரன்)

Divyapriya Chandrasekaran is pursuing PhD on the vocal communication of birds in Anaikatty hills, Western Ghats, India. She is associated with Nature Education division at Sálim Ali Centre for Ornithology & Natural History (SACON), where she pursues her research. Nature Education programmes gave her the opportunity to meet students and general public, which triggered her wish of taking the core science to public in an easy and simple language.
She believes that scientific knowledge should reach general public (end user) and aspires to do it through her writings in English and Tamil.
Genetics, Ecology, Evolution, Wildlife, Ornithology, alternative medicine, alternative education, organic farming interests her and are the inspirations for her to pen down her thoughts.
