Jigu is a biology student for life, with an undergraduate degree in Microbiology, postgraduate diploma in Applied Biochemistry and a dual master’s degree in Marine Biology and Coastal Zone Management. Having adorned many professional hats at various education and wildlife conservation organizations, she is now pursuing her passion for science writing at Research Matters by Gubbi Labs. A lover of water colours, an avid birder and wildlife enthusiast, she has travelled to many a place, unkempt and unplanned. Living life to the fullest, her mantra ‘Miles to swim before I sink...’ keeps her going.
