As a science communication initiative of Gubbi Labs, Research Matters aims to build a critical 'bridge' between the science that happens in India’s research institutes and the society that eventually benefits from it. Our core focus is on disseminating published research to the general public and also bringing out stories based on research in India.

We’re seeking a content editor to support daily tasks at Research Matters. If you are passionate about making science accessible to all and interested in science communication, this may be the opportunity for you.
Open Position(s):
Content Editor - One position.
Tasks to do:
- Assist with editorial activities of Research Matters, including writing/ scheduling, creating artwork/graphics, and publishing content on the Research Matters website.
- Assist with content for the Research Matters weekly Newsletter, including finding exciting news and events to cover.
- Identify suitable collaborators for guest/blog posts for Research Matters.
- Assist with organising and hosting events, like popular talks and panel discussions.
- Assist with social media and outreach initiatives of Research Matters and Gubbi Labs, including scheduling posts, engaging with comments, and conducting outreach activities for Research Matters.
Where: Bengaluru - Hybrid - Office and Work from home.
Remuneration: Rs 25,000 per month.
